I've had the E39 going on 4 years... made a pact with myself to never sell it.

Whats funny is that I use to think the clutch was fairly light in the M5. When I first got in the GTI my foot went down so fast it felt like I missed the pedal entirely.

Yeah, I had an E36/8 M Coupe for 14 years, super light clutch, and the oddest engagement of any car I've ever had. I had a friend with a couple of E39 M5's, always enjoyed driving them.

I saw a picture last night were the coolant line cracked and sprayed inside the intake and all over the bay.
