Following my "less is more" modding theme with this car, I replaced the factory air filter with a K&N filter. First 30 min. commute resulted in about 2mpg improvement in fuel consumption although that could just be due to the ECU getting used to the increased air flow.

Thinking about that K&N myself. Since guys recommend getting a tune first then jump to a different intake. This filter might be a good start till I decide to flash the ecu.

^I prefer AFE drop-in filters myself. You can also choose oiled or non-oiled versions.

Reached 1000 on the way back from Arkansas! Bought the car at 37 miles, ended my week long trip with 1400 and I still love the car!

Now that the break-in period is over you can let the revs fly!

I'm only 250 in... my right foot is get'n twitchy.
