Yeah holy shit @penyota with OPF delete DP JB4 can not compensate enough fueling it seems, log carefully on map2 with the older firmware to see if you still hit the trim cealing.

Edit, log seems okay, getting settings now - kinda want to switch to adder from actual... does anyone know the way to "convert" from absolute to adder? is it a flat subtract?

so I don't need to setup a winter map? I thought last year I was on a winter map ect, summer map has been like 25-23 on e30, obviously i wont hit those numbers in the winter, but it wouldn't hurt anything being 20 degrees lol

Your car has the same issue. 14 AFR at 6k isn't where you want to be for engine longevity.

that log was super dense, i zoomed in and out a lot. you're af is still a bit too lean. i'd knock boost down or at least consider it. if you're having issues reeling in the af. take my advice with salt, Im still new to the platform.

What would be the target af? In other words, where would one want to be at 4K rpm, 5k, 6k and 7k?

JB4s biggest weakness is AFR controll but we "accept" leaner early RPM range as long as it richens up later, also not pushing the same amount of boost as many flashtunes.

Generally DI engines can run pretty lean under load but our engines are knock sensitive and puts a lot of pressure on the sparkplugs plus are happy in richer conditions, so if you are running boost heavy flashtune there is no reason to be leaner than low 12s or mid to high 11s really.

That makes sense. DI does benefit from starting lean and richening up while sweeping to redline. Thanks for answering my question
