What Did You Drive Before You Drove A MKVII Golf, GTI or R?

'03 Pontiac Vibe GT 6MT. Got it in 08 and drove it until I got my GTI 4 weeks ago, took it from 89k to 196k miles. Was a great car for me and gave me the love of a sporty yet useful hatch.

The GTI is slightly less roomy but way more fast and fun!


Before that was a '98 Explorer, a '99 Maxima, '94 Toyota pickup, an '88 5.0 Mustang GT, and an '84 Dodge Ram Charger.

Previous was 09 A3 2.0T quattro... it was time for something new and they did away with the sportback, so I find myself in a GSW. Waiting out the lease to buy an Alltrack, possibly a Golf R.

My first car was a 2015 Golf 1.8 TSI. I totaled it a year into my lease after I smoked a deer. Got my 2017 GTI a day later.
