She turned to sharp and caught the edge of a curb....luckily it wasn't any higher or that would have been the paint and body being damaged.

my girlfriend has my winter car right now while her truck is out of commission from an accident. With her terrible driving record I'm hoping I don't have a similar incident on my hands soon...

In her defense, these cars have a very quick steering rack. If you aren't used to it this can happen pretty easily. The mk7 gti is a hair over 2 turns lock to lock. My mk6 Golf was 3 turns and cars from 10 years ago were between 3 and 4 turns.

Crazy how things change.

Hopefully she's okay! After all, cars can be fixed or replaced easily... People can't.

She was coming out of a parking spot. I'm surprised because she's a good driver. Everyone makes mistakes. I never freaked out I'm just stressed lol. She feels bad though.

2. Added a new shift coin to my BFI golfball shift knob.

3. Found out that my new neighbor backed into my car the other day. I didn't even notice until another neighbor told me. Gotta take it to a body shop to get an estimate so they can pay me for it.
