Installed this past weekend.
I should have done this Powerflex Hybrid from the start. Huge improvement over the BFI Stg2 insert that was trashed when I removed it. Much less NVH overall paired with the BFI Stg2 Motor/Trans combo.

I would have expected it last longer than it did...wow
I would say that it was failing before this. I could feel the NVH progressively getting worse. Especially in Reverse, low rpm accelerations and WOT shifts.

What about emergency collision braking?
I think that's why it needed the alignment not the rain sensor.
That sensor is behind the VW badge, so not sure why replacing the windshield would affect it.

Put together my DIY front license plate bracket; huge props to @dlhoovler for the idea and inspiration. Need to plastidip/paint the chrome bracket so it doesn't stick out so much/rust, but overall I'm extremely pleased with it. One change I made was to wrap the sides and back of the plate backer with adhesive felt (not pictured) to minimize scratches to the paint behind it if someone gives a love tap.

Finally got off my ass and installed some parts.

Did my IE turbo inlet and V2 intake, which took longer than I expected but it's a mother getting the hoses on and aligned properly. Took it for a spin and it makes all of the fun noises. No coolant or air leaks to report but I did hear the tool I lost in the engine bay come bouncing out near my driveway so I'll have to go find that tomorrow.

Aside from getting everything line up I didn't have any fitment issues like some here have mentioned. Also, I know it was primarily a V1 issue but I checked clearance between the elbow and hard line and there was plenty (though I did manage to scratch it already).

Also - first time working under the new garage lights. Super bright and no headaches is a win!
