Hmm, I wonder who/which company you could be talking about...Was lively this morning, spun 4th in my AS3+. Spools around 300rpm quicker than when it's moderately warm out. Serves as a reminder that when company X claims "Look how fast our turbo spools!" without giving any data behind important variables such as ambient temp and ambient pressure. Comparing their turbo vs yours in the deadass heat of summer is foolish. These things have a major impact.

Versus when it was warmer out.:

Used Vdyno to find where they broke loose. Looks like around 4300.

yesare you able to run any type of flex fuel with the type of tuning youre doing?
Dope, imagine I will need this sometime later this year.@Switchleg has been hard at work bringing new capabilities to SwitchPatch, the latest being ignition-based traction control. There is an added layer of wastegate control to help prevent overboost when you cut massive amounts of timing. Big shoutout to switch on this new added feature. NOTE: You still have to start with a reasonable amount of power for it to be effective. It can't save your 550+whp GTI on winters if you give it all the business in 2nd gear.

ECUs internal accelerometer don't lie:

or you can look at the rear wheels to see how fast the car was accelerating. Compare the slope between the 2. Clearly faster with TC enabled:

You can see it pulling timing out:

Here is the WG being opened to help keep boost in check. Only a few psi over, not bad:

you're just now getting spark based tc in 2023? bruh@Switchleg has been hard at work bringing new capabilities to SwitchPatch, the latest being ignition-based traction control. Yup. Enjoy your overboost when your platform attempts to come even close to pulling any reasonable timing.you're just now getting spark based tc in 2023? bruh
