Switch back to map 1 for 91 octane?

I can roll the boost back for map 6 but would like to save it for when I have 94 in the tank.

Thanks!

yes. 91 map1
94 map6

Map 1 is +4.5 psi across the aboard according the JB4 info post. Does that mean I'll be running slightly more boost at low RPM (and less at high RPM) than I currently am with map 6?

Map 1 felt good and initially map 6 felt faster, but now I'm looking forward to switching back for comparison.

I guess it's time find a station with E85 and buy a 55 gallon drum!

Today I will change the JB4 Harness (New one). Because when I want to read the data from JB4 over USB, there is no live Data (like RPM, Load etc.). And before that, I was getting Low Voltage Errors from the Sensor where JB4 is plugged in.

I tried to clean all connectors, and it worked for a few days, after that, the same problem.

p.s. with "checking out your car" you mean, to meet us ? :) no problem at all :)

Checking out your car and meeting up. I haven't found a lot of car guys around here.

Speaking of this last part... anyone know how long u can have e85 sit in drum? Like if I did this and use a mix of 93/e85 and only use 2-3 gal 85, i would imagine it would take a long time to get the drum empty

The alcohol is fine, it's the 15% gas that doesn't like sitting. It will have better shelf life than regular gas but I'd say 3 months is about all I'd be ok with.
I use Sta-bil for my lawnmower gas during the winter. Would a product like that be detrimental to our cars? Just curious.

George at BMS told me not to store e85 longer than a month. getting a proper container is critical too as if its not air tight it will just absorb moisture.

Alcohol doesn't absorb moisture, it evaporates. Yes, you would want an airtight container.

ethanol will absorb moisture.

http://www.fuel-testers.com/about_ethanol_fuel.html

here is a quote right from the ethanol fuel wiki: "Ethanol is hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs water vapor directly from the atmosphere. Because absorbed water dilutes the fuel value of the ethanol and may cause phase separation of ethanol-gasoline blends (which causes engine stall), containers of ethanol fuels must be kept tightly sealed."

I had an overboost Problem from 3-4 Gear, now I lowered the Boost on high rpm and set the Shift Boost Reduction 80.

What concerns me is the high Trim.

Here the Trims is getting to High and the AFR is lean.

Finally managed to do a 3rd gear log, just 1 pull.

Mods are DP, intake, twintercooler on default map 1 with 91oct.
Ambient temp 86 degrees, AC off. Fuel bias set 100, FOL 60. Everything looking good on these logs? Thanks!

The shitty gas is killing the timing. Any way to get some ethanol in there? If so, start with a couple gallons of E85 and set your FOL to 50. What is boost safety at?
