Finally tackled my leaking windshield washer reservoir. Turned out to be one of the plastic tubes coming out of it vs the actual tank or pump. Hairline crack in the plastic tubing that was causing a very small/slow leak when the tank was filled past 25% or so. Nothing a few layers of teflon tape wrapped up with gorilla tape couldn't solve.

Where did you buy yours...? Its so hard to find 235/35R19 tires, especially the new models from European brands...
Locally over here in Germany. 380€ installed for the set.

Well, broke my cheapo front AE mud flap the other day leaving work.

Made my own mud flaps out of a piece of structured thermoplast. Started with a template.

Probably swapping out my Conti ECS tires this week. Less than 10k mi in them but the car has developed a loud hum at highway speeds. I’ve rotated them, balanced them, had alignment checked, did a bunch of sound dampening. The only thing that helps is to drastically underinflate them and even then it only helps a little. Only when I swap on my track tires does the hum go away completely. Only thing I can guess is the tires are the culprit. Hoping Discount Tire will give me some sort of prorated refund or deal…

Not sure what to move to. I hear the ECS 02 are good but read a review about high pitched noise on the highway. MPS4S seem to have noisy tread growl issues on certain roads. Falken FK510 seem to be consistently rated as quite and smooth with grip that’s only just a bit behind MSP4S, so that might be the ticket.
I ran my FK510's to the cords and no noise. They were on the set of wheels you have before you put your race tires on them.

I tried that spec already. It rubs.

After fixing the camber up front with the new euro sport street camber kit, I had the alignment shop add some - camber to the rear. The 245s on a 9” wide wheel with +42 offset look great imo

So, this is two opposing viewpoints. I was planning on running the adjustable bushings up front in the LCAs as well as eurosport pucks in the top hats to get negative camber to make the 245/9" setup play nice on et45... Does 3mm make the difference? @EpicTech did you have rubbing up front, or in the rear? It seemed like I might be close with the filler neck, but with that said I'm not planning on going excessively low (really just trying to get weight distribution under control), rough estimate is about an inch lower all around at most. Maybe this belongs in the stupid questions or aggressive fitment thread? @Treadup it does indeed look fantastic, any fitment issues?

Also in the 245, 9in, 42 club. Slight fitment issues in front, when stock camber. I don’t think it will be an issue because the sidewall (dependent on tire ofc) should have a little stretch to it, which should give you a little extra clearance

I don’t see why that combo wouldn’t work with what you’re planning. That’s the same setup I use, and aside from the screw mod, my 255’s on 18x9’s fit without issues.

Front, stock camber. on coils. Rub at any good dip in the road or speed bump etc.

I can only speak to the specs I am running but I only had slight rub in thr front over bumps with this setup. Once I installed the euro sport camber kit, no more rub. This was even before the alignment. I wanted more camber in the rear since the top of the wheels poked out just a little. No rubbing in the rear before or after.

I can say the 3mm probably does make a difference. I had 18x9 et 45 with a 255/35r18 indy 500 and only had to do the fender screw mod to fix my rubbing issue. Grant you, I was stock height and an R, don't know how much geometry changes.

Think I'm gonna bail on the 18x9s, it saves me a fair amount of money to stick with the 18x8s I already have, and just get a better tire in 235s, and I'll still run the eurosport top hats with ST coils so I can get a little camber to make the tires happy. It's hard to not try to build everything like an autocross setup, even if it's just a street car.

I did notice as well that it seemed like fitment would be fairly close to the fuel filler neck, which is a game I'm not sure I'm willing to play.
