Drove the car from FL to NC last night and today. Forgot how nice this car drives on the highway - from 60 to whatever the response is really nice.. i cannot Imagine was an IS38, an Vortex, or different set up would even feel like.. then again i dont Even go balls to the wall either..

I think i eventually want to still change some suspension aspects- i would like the car to respond a bit better on suspension.. may have to end up rolling the fenders cause on some of the bigger bumps something is hitting or so it seems.
Mine is IS38 and pulling from 60 on a highway is pure bliss. It makes you wonder how much better it can be, even when it's already ridiculously good.

Went to cars and coffee with a few local VAG cars. Learned from a stance boy that he’s got a buddy with a 900hp mk7 who’s gapping everyone in town including lambos.
Anyway. Super clean Corrado with some rare parts on her. Only pic I took was this one.

My 93 Corrado was one of my favorite cars of all time. Lift throttle oversteer in abundance right from the factory.

Installed BFI engine & transmission mounts. The trans mount was missing one bolt so I had to shorten and reuse one of the original bolts......

Re-installed my almost 7 years old starter battery after a DSG oil change, and a couple other maintenance parts.

Did the VAQ fluid this morning. Really simple to do only hinderance was having retrofitted both the front exhaust tunnel cover and the full belly pan, both had to be removed, otherwise really straight forward. Also having access to a full lift makes this an easy one. Doing it on your back probably wouldn't be that challenging either. I used aluminum foil the cover the sway bar and subframe to keep it clean. Should have kept it in place when filling because it will leak out of the fill hole onto the same place. Oops

I didn't pull the pump, at only 29k miles I didn't feel the need to. I'll do it at 60k though. Color was the same as the stuff going in, only a little stinky like normal diff fluid but nothing like I've experienced before on 80K+ mile trans or rear diffs.

Moved the gauge from the left air vent to the steering column. Feels a bit strange after looking at the left vent for the last two years but I'm sure I'll adjust quickly. Nice to be able to control where the vent blows again.
