Took the Mk7 on a hardware run, did some injection pump mods, wrapped up some odds & ends then started the suspension refresh.

I don’t know if it’s because I already had the dog bone insert and was used to it or because I have the transmission insert instead of the full billet but I noticed absolutely no difference when I did my bfi mounts.
I'm assuming most of it is due to the dogbone

Retrofitted the premium panels for all 4 doors + my glovebox. These trim pieces are plastic welded to the door card and break upon removal. Thank god for gorilla glue

Overall cost me about $90AUD or $60USD

Drove to work and took a few logs for OS tuning purposes. Guy at a stoplight in a Focus ST with "stuff on it" pulls up next to me revving and $hit. I looked over while holding the tablet with simos tools logging screen open and dude stops revving at me and grin turns to a quizzical raised eyebrow.

New BFI stage 1 engine/trans/dogbone mounts, and Superpro LCAs on. Vibration is kinda wild at idle, but I'm hoping that'll mellow out soon enough.
How's the noise? I've noticed that mine sounds much more "tractor"-esque since doing stage 1 BFI mounts all around, and the Powerflex hybrid insert. I have the SB Stage 3 Daily, no downpipe, so that may be why it's more noticeable/audible.

I didn't have a whole lot of increase in vibration with stage 1 (after doing the powerflex hybrid dogbone mount), it kinda made me wish I went stage 2.

The noise is definitely different at partial throttle - a lot more tractor-y haha. But I’ve only put like 100 miles on the mounts so far.

Launched it against a vette and got an epc light and codes for my troubles. I’ve emailed Matt and plan to take it easy until I hear back but the car drove home fine the rest of the way.
