Mine has apparently been seeping like this for a while based on how much buildup there was on the hose going to the TIP. I'm a bit above 74k miles and it's a 2015, so coming up on nine years old in the next few months.

The knock on wood did not help me here haha.

This happened pretty severely again today. Below is the series of events.

  1. Drove about 15 minutes to drop our dog off at camp for the day. Shut off car.
  2. Got in car maybe two minutes later and started without issue.
  3. Drove another 15 minutes to a lab appointment. Shut off car.
  4. Gave up my three vials of blood and went to start the car about 10 minutes later.
  5. Car just cranked and cranked (did you know it will crank on its own even if you're not pushing the key forward? weird). No start.
  6. Try again. Cranked and cranked for a while before finally turning over and stumbling its way up to idle RPM.
  7. Car ran perfectly fine the rest of the 20 minute commute to work.
Ran a quick scan when I got the office and found the below. The misfires are new and there doesn't appear to be anything fuel/evap related in there like last time.

Super easy. You don't even need to take the fuel lines off as once you unbolt and lift up off the catch you can shake it right there in the wheel well. The wiring and lines have enough slack to give it a good shake.

I had issues with my LPFP failing intermittently, it would stumble when starting and randomly cutting out when just starting out to drive. Replaced the LPFP and that fixed my issue.

Then I had an issue with the charcoal canister failing, it wasn't full of fuel but I replaced the jet suction pump and N80 valve and PCV. Was still stumbling while driving in 4th gear, the AFRs would jump all over the place. Turns out the charcoal canister was bad, no gas in it but the charcoal was just rattling around.

Bought a used one from Autohaas for 100 bucks and been fine ever since.

Thanks for this. I'll definitely keep it in mind after my investigation haha.

I've had zero issues while driving though, which is odd to me.

You can pick up a LPFP for about 125 bucks, I got mine from DAPAuto. Takes literally 15 minutes to replace.

@Diggs24 Helped me figure out my issues before, so I would also try his suggestion for pulling the charcoal canister as well.

Think it is worth addressing the 1 and 4 misfire codes at all after checking the charcoal canister? Plugs are new about 15k miles ago. Coils have about 75k on them. Just not sure if the misfire codes could be popping due to a possible fueling issue. I guess I could always swap 2 and 3 for 1 and 4 to see if it persists first. My idle does seem to be just a bit rough and did recently have the valves cleaned, so it's not that.
