I love the quality of the Blendmount. Just not a fan of the $150 price tag.

They're not bad. From everything I've seen, they work great.
However, the FitCamX cameras are just AliExpress cameras marked up about 100%. As long as you're fine ordering from there, you can get one for about half of what they charge.
The Black R may take the cake for having the dirtiest engine bay I have ever seen. I'm assuming the previous owner drove 113k miles on gravel roads and never cleaned the engine bay.
Just used some Simple Green, a detail brush, and a 40-degree tip on a pressure washer. The Euro Intake Manifold cover was a nice addition since it was just laying around from my White R.

I always shit my pants trying to figure out how to properly wash the engine bay. Did you disconnect the battery? Bag any extra parts or avoid certain parts with the pressure washer?

I just don't wash it
Try to avoid directly spraying the battery and alternator. The 40° tip on the pressure washer is fairly light pressure so it was fine.

Removed the old window tint since it had bubbles. It took about 3 hours with a steamer, plastic razors, and La's Totally Awesome Degreaser ($1.25). The tint shop quoted $200 to remove the old tint, so I did it myself.
Fresh 20% Ceramic Tint installed on the sides and back with black vinyl over the wing windows.
Mediocre wash with some Griot's Garage 3-in-1 Ceramic Wax. Maybe one day I will do a full paint correction.
Also installed OEM mud flaps.

Rear: 5GV075105A (Mk7.5 GTI Rear Mud Flaps)

I was trying to hold off on a new battery for the White R until summer. I'm away at college and the cars stays at home on a CTEK trickle charger. I tried to start the car this weekend and it was completely dead. The OEM battery lasted 6 years.
I thought about doing a lightweight option, but the car doesn't get driven enough for a Lithium-Ion battery. I decided on the Odyssey H6 (48-720) performance battery. To my surprise, it has the same dimensions as the factory battery, except it is about an inch longer. It weighs in at an astounding 48 lbs... so much for weight reduction.
The factory battery sleeve required slight modification to fit the Odyssey battery. I poked three holes in the sleeve and used zip ties to wrap the sleeve snug around the new battery.

From factory you (we) have an H5 size battery. Now you have an H6. The tray has bolt holes for the hold down to accept both.
Sometimes I've only seen certain batteries in H6. Other times I've seen the H5 and H6 of a given battery are so close in price doesn't make sense to go with the lower capacity H5.

Mk7.5 R’s all come with the H6 from the factory. The Mk7 had the H5 battery.

Gotcha... I am confused about your battery though, I guess. You said it was the factory battery but also that the new H6 battery is bigger. So what size is/was your factory battery?
Not that it really makes a difference in any case. H6 works, H5 works. I've had both those sizes and a lithium in my TDI, a 2015 which came with H5. These days the toddler always wants to play in the car so H6 is in there now.
My factory was an H6 and so is the Odyssey. Odyssey batteries are known to be larger. Went from a 56Ah (EFB) to a 70Ah (AGM).
CCA are more than double with the new Odyssey as well.

FWIW, ShopDAP was the only website with all parts. ECS Tuning and FCP Euro all had some combination of parts that did not come up when I searched them. Total was about $180 shipped. This list doesn't include the flywheel bolts or pressure plate bolts since my Southbend Stage 3 Daily kit came with them.
