Found a good deal on an aFe Momentum GT intake. This intake is slightly louder than the stock setup.

Oil change service kit has arrived.

Racingline rear upper control arms and toe arms arrived for the White R.

Completed the 550 break in miles for the Southbend Clutch on the White R.

July 21, 2024 - 37,786 miles (WHITE)

Installed TyrolSport Rear Deadset Kit (Custom ordered to work with 034 Rear Subframe Inserts) and Racingline Rear Upper Control Arms and Toe Arms.

Found a good deal on a brand new set of ST XTA Coilovers for the Black R. I will probably make a comparison between the XTA's and KW V3's that are on the White R.

July 26, 2024 - 115,897 miles (BLACK)

Had some PDR work done on the Black R. This dent was from the previous owner.

The dent was right along the body line.

Took all of 2 minutes to remove the rear door card.

Knab Auto Body completed it in about 3 hours. - $250

ST XTA Coilovers have arrived for the Black R.

July 28, 2024 - 115,997 miles (BLACK R)

Installed the ST XTA Coilovers with new rear strut mounts on the Black R.
Used TAG DCC Cancelers.

Added 15mm KW Spring Spacers in the rear.
NOTE: Remove lower spring insulators and install the helper spring into the LCA. Their instructions aren't updated to show the new linear springs that come with XTA's.

August 4, 2024 - 116,053 miles (BLACK)

Installed a EuroSport Rear X-Brace on the Black R.
I had one of these on my MK6 GTI and it was great. Immediately removed the chassis creaking noise I would get backing out of driveways.

Installation took about 1.5 hours, and only required a drill and basic hand tools to install the rivets.

Got the White R all dialed! Shoutout to Performance Alignment in Sharonville, OH.

FRONT:
-2.5 degrees of camber
Zero Toe
CASTER comes from the 034 LCA's

REAR:
-2.25 degrees of camber
Touch of Toe In

August 10, 2024 - 116,143 miles (BLACK)

Did an oil change service and added Ceratec to the Black R today.

Cleaned the A/C Evaporator Core to help neutralize the interior.
- Remove blower motor
- Spray KOOL-IT foaming evaporator core cleaner
- Let foam sit 20 mins and drain out underside of car

Shoutout @034Motorsport for partnering with me! New set of ZTF-LP01 wheels coming for the Black R.
I went with 18x8.5 ET45 in the Anthracite finish. I will be running 235/40/ZR18 Continental DWS06 Plus tires.

August 16, 2024 - 116,213 miles (BLACK)

Installed my ZTF-LP01 18x8.5 ET45 wheels wrapped with 235/40/ZR18 Continental DWS06+ tires.
Shoutout to East Side Auto Spa in Blue Ash, OH for doing a perfect job on both sets of my wheels. They use a touchless tire installation machine.

September 1, 2024 - 116,557 miles (BLACK)

The Black R got some love today! It now has a Stage 1 EQT Tune paired with an EQT DSG Tune.
I did a full DSG relearn and the car feels amazing now!

Installed Powerflex Dogbone Insert (PWF-PFF85830P).

Decided the resonator delete with the stock catback wasn't quite loud enough so I got an ECS Tuning Resonated Valved Catback.
I went with the black chrome exhaust tips to keep the car subtle.

The new catback sounds OEM+ with the stock downpipe.
