JB4 Logging, stacking and Map 6 Discussion

Looking for more advice please.
I am currently running on map6 with these numbers (same numbers I have been using, advice from George):
1500 0
2000 2
2500 3
3000 3
3500 3.5
4000 4.5
4500 5.5
5000 6.5
5500 7
6000 7
6500 6
7000 6

The FOL is set at: 45 (I never touched it)

I ran logs in the past with these same numbers and the logs were very clean (only engine mod was intercooler). However, since then, I have added a few mods:
- I replaced the sparkplugs with the NGK 95125 gapped at .024.,
- put on an 034 inlet tube, and smooth hose
- put on a Ultimate Racing 400 cell ceramic catted downpipe.

I did 3 data logs today, I always run 93 octane, and I was getting very consistent timing pull on Cyl#2 (ign 3). (1.2 down to .7, then down to .3 at ~6,000 - 6,500 RPM on 2 data logs, and similar pull pattern, but less at ~3,500 - 4,500 RPM on one log)
I find it strange that the timing pull curve is the same exact pull on 2 charts, then it was the same pattern of pull on the other chart, but at lower RPM's.
The car felt strong, and I didn't notice anything wrong, but I would really like to have no timing pull at all (I want a safety cushion)

To all the experts here, what should be my next move? I was thinking (based on the higher end of the Trims >40) that my FOL should be increased to 50.
If I do that, will it fix the timing pull issue? Being that the timing pull was at the same RPM's and on the same cylinder on 2 of the runs, is it possible that there is an issue with one of the sparkplugs or coils (#2 cyl)?
Or should I just lower the boost a little in the RPM range where it was pulling timing?

Here are the data logs:
https://datazap.me/u/up4speed/log-1614138010?log=0&data=1-4-25-26-27-28
https://datazap.me/u/up4speed/log-1614138180?log=0&data=1-4-25-26-27-28
https://datazap.me/u/up4speed/log-1614138263?log=0&data=1-4-11-14-18-25-26-27-28

I decided to do 3 more logs with the FOL set to 50. Here are the results:

https://datazap.me/u/up4speed/log-1614189903?log=0&data=1-4-5-14-25-26-27-28
https://datazap.me/u/up4speed/log-1614189947?log=0&data=1-4-14-25-26-27-28
https://datazap.me/u/up4speed/log-1614189987?log=0&data=1-4-14-25-26-27-28

The Trims went down to a max of 42 (I'm not sure if that's still to high). I'm thinking that I should maybe subtract .5 from the boost at every RPM range?
The first 2 runs seemed very good to me regarding timing, but the 3rd one had timing pull in two spots, and I'm not sure why.

Please give thoughts...Thanks!!
Seems like you are figuring it out on your own but the last log looks good, that little timing pull is fine I would worry more if the sensors never acted.

Just installed jb4 on my 2020 S DSG. Been playing around with different maps and I’m not really feeling much of a difference in power . Did some logs and noticed I’m not really getting any timing advance in the Ign1 log. It only spikes up 2-5 degrees right before a gear change and it’s a 0 rest of the time. My afr also goes down in to 10s which is really rich. Any ideas?
Logs via Datazap.me?

I’m not sure if my signal is just bad or if that’s the actual timing
Its fine you cant see negative and advance is dependant on fuel quality even if the knock sensors dont intervene, you are on map 0 and pedal is not 100% so it does not say much.

Edit: Saw your other logs now but pedal is still not fully down so can not see the real result, the 2019+ GTIs always goes rich as a safety precaution

Do you think that 42 on the trims is ok, or is it too high?
Should I raise the FOL to 55?
Or maybe even lower boost .5 across all RPM's?

Fol is fine if trims stays in lower 40s and boost is good but up to you how much you want to add.

OK Thanks! I think I may lower the boost a little, so I can have a safety cushion for the heat and/or track use. I want it to be reliable, not looking to win any races.

I lowered the boost in higher RPM's to these values:
1500 0
2000 2
2500 3
3000 3
3500 3.5
4000 4
4500 5
5000 6
5500 6.5
6000 6.5
6500 5.5
7000 5.5

I did 3 more logs today, and from the limited knowledge I have, I think they look very clean. I would appreciate it if some of the experts here can take a look at the logs and confirm that they are clean.
The only other tweak that I can think of that may help (by lowering the max trim of 42 if necessary), is to raise the FOL from 50 to 55,

@Diggs24 and other friends of the forum, Please get an opinion in my logs.
the attached log, I was not able to accelerate much in the 4th gear by lack of space, see if you can see anything useful please. Gasoilna in my country has 27% Ethanol in its composition with 93Ron octane (IAD87) premium gasoline has 25% ethanol with 102Ron (IAD95)
It is clear that after I put premium gasoline I no longer had the corrections in cylinders 2 - 5, what I would like to know was the safe limit to go with regular gasoline (maybe I have to run map1) and how far I can go when I refuel with the premium , remembering that my turbine is an IS20 OEM, I have Downpipe and inbox filter only and I would like to run many miles with my turbine, what damage is it the pressure too early or hold the pressure up for a long time as the rpm advances?

The climate in my country varies from 53 to 98ºF, most of the year is above 78ºF, the altitude that I accelerate is 730m above sea level
On the day of the log below, the ambient temperature was 89ªF, That is, one of the hottest days.

Your premium fuel map looks good. I wish I could get your premium here out of one pump. With temps so high, I'd get an intercooler before pushing it for the last bit.

For being E40 plus with only 4psi add that seems weird, how old are your plugs and have you gapped them?

Hy Chris
my candles have 20,000 km
no, I haven't checked the gap between my candles
you advise me to replace them as well as the ignition coils?
Yea I would replace them then but your coils are fine, if that doesnt help try 98ron/E30 if you have crappy winter E85 and 95ron.

I have un stock Plfer7a8eg 94833 ngk platinum
Its good ? the spark plug gap 0.24 mm?
Yes those are good and I guess you mean 0.024" or 0.6mm, you should not have to go that tight with the soft map you are running. I think they are 0.8mm stock and that should honestly be fine on your car but if you can adjust correctly go to 0.7mm.
