Ok, here's another shot at this, I hope I'm doing these correctly. Here's a few logs from this past weekend on map 6 on a 2015 GTI PP DSG with just a CTS Turbo inlet pipe and a K&N drop-in filter on 93 octane. Please let me know if I should make any adjustments, and of course, thanks for your help! I appreciate the insight, Gang.

3rd gear manual mode. 3k rpm, start logging, floor it but dont hit the kickdown button. Once the car auto shifts to 4th stop log.

None of these logs is in 3rd gear.

Ok and no E85 nearby? Ign_1 shows timing advance and KR for cyl.1, so you dont want hard drops of several degrees. And ign_2-4 shows KR on cyl.2-4, your log is not to bad so moving to map 1 should be enough and I would try map 2 again on a different tank.

I have 1 area that has questionable “e85” at best. Running their 93 also gave me the highest kr I’ve ever had while logging a different car a few years back so I try to just avoid the place as a whole. The link you posted does show the dip but there is they anyway to see exactly how much it is? Like on maestro on my other car I could see kr as -4, etc. I only see positive numbers under the graph. Thanks for the insight.

Hello all! Tried some custom map 6 settings after I got my DP installed. FOL 50. 93 fuel.

I’m noticing a weird spike in AFR and dip in boost at the start of the run. Also, noticed a dip in ing_1 around 5900RPM. Could that be an indication of knock? Looking for some guidance, please.
Looks good, IATs are getting hot affecting timing advance and check trims and raise FOL if they go up any more in colder weather.

AFR spike in the beginning of the pull is just an JB4 bug and that tiny timing adjustment on cyl.1 is nothing to worry about.

Yea that is the issue with combined cylinder 1 timing advance and KR graph, was it -2 pull and timing advance cut or -3 lol, JB4 logs only shows positive numbers but ign2-4 means negative of course.

Thanks for the response!

Yea I would love to get a FMIC, and I've since raised FOL to 55. I'll run another log to see what it looks like later today. Do you have any idea what could have caused the boost to be right on target and then fall off a little 4000RPMs?

Glad it seems to be running well, I just want to learn as much as I can about it.

Thanks again!

IS20 will easely overshoot target on spoolup and then fall back, JB4 can also only do so much to reach boost target on absolute maps. You could try to raise target at 4k to say 26 and see how that goes.
