Hey no one mentioned anything about triple squats and extensions. If I need to go to the gym, I want no part of this.

I would not try it without tune or at least jb4. At low RPM the is12 car expects quicker boost response than the is20 can handle and at higher rpm the air supply is too much. I go with map6 and I had a lot of P0299 errors at the beginning till I lowered target toprobably a noob question...
On a 1.8 TSI engine, just doing a IS12 to IS20 swap without ECU Tuning/Re-Mapping gives any performance gains ?
Or does this swap requires a tune ? If so which one. Can you shed some info on this ?

2000 - 11
2500 - 13
3000 - 16
3500 - 19 and so on.
It could not provide the boost at low rpm I wanted at the beginning.
I think uni and apr have a 1.8 is20 ready tune. But maybe you can get a custom tune from a specialist with dyno.

Do you have a picture? If the bolt isn't threading it sounds like the line is rotated incorrectly.
