What you have to be aware of is that the MK8 Golf/MK4 Octavia is longer in the wheelbase than the MK7 Golf..so several of the middle panel will not fit 100%...also the Octavia is longer after the rear axle than the MK7 Golf hatch...& in fact the Octavia is loner than the MK7 Golf Estate.

In the diagram

Item No1 = longer "Eco" aero tray (noise insulation for the Aluminium front subframe)
Item No.6 = (Underrun bar)....skidtray which we have for MK7 & no difference in size/coverage
Item No.11 Metal front exhaust tunnel cover...we have the foil backed plastic one..the metal one should fit & be ok for those with cats in that area.
Item No.13 = short cover version of Item No.11 for AWD equipped cars..(we already this Item in MK7 Golf)

I'll do the rest later, but several of the others wouldn't work & people have bodged them....but its good to get 100% certain as to what is available!!..

EDIT

Items 18, 23, 47, 75 have been discussed as not fitting as the they join onto the middle side panels which are longer on the MK8 Golf.(unless you fit the MK8 side panels)..another poster bodged these to fit his MK7, link to his post in this thread..

Item No.31 = the estates with one exhaust back box have fitted (will not fit hatch as you don't have the extra 1ft length after rear axle).
Item No.27 = this has been discussed as only fitting the estates with the torsion beam rear axle & the low spec 1.6lt diesel or 1lt & 1.2lt petrol engines as the back box is transverse next to the torsion beam axle instead on longitudinal next to the rear bumper..therefore the smaller engines have a pipe & not a back box next to the bumper & have that cover trim piece made for them..

What's the possibility of any of these above parts fitting after the rear axle of the 4Motion Sportwagen or Alltrack?

5G9825205E and 5G9825205F with a little trimming?

" a little trimming".....these are the two items which cover the spaces either side of the spare wheel well....you have an exhaust box in each one.....so you will need to seriously trim & line with heat reflective foil...

Did we ever find out about the aero covers for the front lower control arms? Have the ones for the rear and want to get the fronts...if they will fit.
