Ordered via the VW parts website and got it shipped to my dealer. Overall, now 3 months with the mods they’ve been amazing. Definitely quieter but the car does seem more stable at speed and on cross wind. Probably also reduced some Cd so probably gained some speed too!

My full length belly pan, Tiguan short tunnel cover, RS3 brake ducts, and rear MK8 LCA covers have been good up to 140mph on track.
Is there any concern with the full-length belly pan not letting enough hot air escape?
If not, which of these two kits would I want to use on a M7 Golf R?
1) https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine...ront-belly-pan-installation-kit/5q0825236qkt/
2) https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-volkswagen-audi-parts/front-belly-pan-kit/3q0825236ckt/

Also, why the Tiguan Short Tunnel cover instead of this one?
3) https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-volkswagen-audi-parts/lining/5q0825229c/

Are there other aero pieces that can fit on a Mk7 Golf R?
For example, how about the Exhaust Side Covers pictured below, and what part numbers would you order if so?

That last item in the photo is for the 2wd (FWD) cars only..it won't fit your 4wd (AWD) car........

The full length engine bay covers if OEM ones are made to fit & work on the "R"...its a "rough road package" fitted at factory for certain countries...

Also the front exhaust tunnel cover will not fit the "R" unless you modify the cardan shaft bracket slightly....the "R" has its own very short cover for that area....

Go back to the first page of this thread the info is in the several posts that I wrote..

I don't think there is any issue with heat escaping but I'd have to do back-to-back testing to verify.

That exhaust tunnel cover won't fit without modifications. I use the short one.

That rear cover won't fit awd models.

Only other piece is the subframe cover.

I put the long cover on my MK7 R. You have to cut the bracket in the middle to make room for the long cover to fit. It will work, just need a hack saw.

If you want to cover more than just the engine bay, get this part...

Does the long cover not fit and/or have any downsides? Why the short one?

Do you have a link to this and the hardware needed for it?

Thanks!
It's posted here, check my build thread (linked in my sig) or group search "subframe aero" or similar...there is a thread with recent posts on it.

Check my posts from a few pages ago if you're interested in which skid tray I installed in my GTI. I don't remember what I bought and I don't have the receipts anymore but my mechanic didn't complain when I asked him to install them for me so I'm sure they all fit with little to no issues. The increase in fuel economy is nice and as I said before, it would have done wonders in lowering the CAFE average for VW in USA.

As for track performance, I get overheating issues in a 20 minute lapping session at CTMP DDT on a hot 30C day, but that's to be expected as the cooling is weak in our cars. I generally can only do 1 hot lap at my 100%, and then have to dial it back to about 80% to let temperatures come down a bit or hold steady while I still have fun driving fast. I had the same issues with the OEM short skid trays so I doubt it's the reason why I'm overheating.

Any idea if a Golf R handles temps any better?
What happens if you don't dial it back?

Nope - datadrivenmqb.com has some good data from an R.

Once coolant gets to 240 it yells at you that you are overheating.
