Has anyone here seen the supposed F2000 "mag dump" where the gun overheats and empties a mag? Tactical Response was where I heard the story, BTW. They don't allow F2000s because of that.

The weapon fires from a closed bolt, so it is possible, but you'd have to put a boatload of rounds downrange for the weapon to overheat and cook off rounds. In that respect it isn't any more likely to do so than any other 5.56mm rifle.

Does anyone have any idea when the Beretta PX4 Subcompact .40 is suppose to be available?
I know Beretta has been back-logged with military orders but it's been at least a year or so since it was to be released....

I still don't think the P2000 is substantially more likely to cook off than any other 5.56mm rifle. It has a higher rate of fire than some similar rifles, but ultimately it is the number of rounds you fire and not how fast you do it that determines chamber temperatures -- whether you dump a Beta-C mag in 7 seconds vs. 10 seconds is largely irrelevant, at the end the chamber temperatures are going to be pretty much the same.

I bought 1000 rounds of PMC Bronze since none of the Walmarts near me ever get .45 in their weekly shipments. Anybody able to find it regularly at their Wally World?

Our Wally Worlds don't ever have ANYTHING. 9mm/.45 sells out almost instantly and most places are at a 2 box limit on pistol ammunition here. The only thing I find regularly is .40 which kind of sucks because I have an endless supply of that from work.
