Nice. Mid 2000s-on Mazda vehicles are a lot like a Japanese VW to me; generally sportier dynamics and nicer interiors than the competitors, though other Japanese brands are starting to step up on the interior front.
Mazda's lack of a true Mazdaspeed3 replacement is what got me to replace it with my GTI before the tin worm infestation underneath it got dangerously bad. I'm sure that the current Mazda3 is very nice, but they're clearly going for more of a luxury feel these days. I get that, since it's hard to be a small independent brand without luxury margins. We still have a 2014 CX-5 that's our primary family hauler. My wife and I liked the Tiguan of the same period, but the cargo area was so small that it wasn't going to be much of a space upgrade from my Mazdaspeed3 apart from being taller.
