I wonder if Lambo/Mclaren/Porsche manuals have that too.

I said, who designs a car that makes the EPC light come on for going to 6,00rpm. My 2011 Cayman S can bounce off of the rev limiter without turning any lights on. I'm not sure if I should try another dealer, ask to talk to the Zone Rep or try to contact VW directly.

They said the mechanic took a test drive and it happened to him also. I can't believe that they all do that. I'm not sure who to call next.

It redlines about 7,200rpm. I've over rev'd on a downshift with no lights or other issues.

An indie shop, and then VWoA. I've taken mine to redline plenty of times. May be some super silly issue they just can't guess at.

Yeah hell of a deal. Sell version 1 and it fails and then tell people to buy version 2.

So it’s okay for their mechanic to take it to redline you just aren't supposed to.
