Installed the Helix headlights and took off the black paint I had over the grill to cover the red stripe. I need to get an LP grill. If anyone has a lead in one lmk!

Also, debating on whether to keep or ditch the yellow film over the fogs.

Got my car on the dyno today to see what my EQT e40 tune is producing.

311hp and 394lb-ft

Only other performance-related mods are NGK RS7 spark plugs and IE intercooler.

On this same dyno almost 3 months ago, I did 221hp and 286lb-ft running e30 with the JB4 set to map 0 (pass-through). And I did 273hp and 339lb-ft with the JB4 set to custom map 6 settings.

Nice! 40+WHP is solid over JB4.

I ran yellow film on Fiesta fogs, IMO ditch it. Mine got nasty after 2.5 years.

Thanks for the info, and a DIY/pics thread would be much appreciated when you're finished. I've thought about doing the same thing, just for not wanting to spend $$$ on a flimsy piece of plastic. I have the tools to mill HDPE but have never used it before, so any pics on how you built yours would be super awesome!

My intention was to create a thread once everything was done. The biggest issue is just finding time to work on it.

get yellow led bulbs for the fogs if you want that yellow look without the hassle.

You can't do that with the mk7 LED setup. It's an enclosed LED unit, not individual arrays. Someone wanting to do that will have to go custom.

Yellow lamin-x stuff tends to crack and melt as i have heard on here... I wouldn't wanna ruin the fogs over that
