Wouldn't it be easier to just remove the GTI badge than try to hide it? Plasti-dip is going to wear off on all the edges.

Yes. There's a lot of videos of ppl leaving it on, but it's simple enough to just remove the grill and take the emblem off. Takes 90 seconds.

I used the spray. 4-5 coats with ~15 mins to dry between. The all-chrome emblem just didn't look right with the black VW badges I added.

I did the same w/ my badge before getting a new grille. Didn't like having one piece of chrome amongst all the black pieces
