This has the 300ps GPF DI only engine same as in 2019 and up Golf R in Europe, the MK7.5R first came with 310ps and MPI in 2017-18.

And from experience with JB4 "tuning" fuel quality makes a big difference in stock software in how much timing advance it allows in boost, so with good UK 99ron you could probably see 10+ degrees at 6k.

That 99 Ron is about 94 US octane, I can get close with 93 ( 98 RON) at the pump here in NH.

In general, European premium (98/99 RON) is way better than US premium (93). To get the same knock resistance performance on this continent you have to go to Eastern Canada 94.

I have seen logs of the Revo OTS 99ron IS38 hybrid tune with 11 degrees timing advance and 27psi boost, even 8 degrees would be spicy on most US 93.
