Yes, this is how the car comes from Audi. It's a functional vent.

MK7R to 8V RS3 to MK8R to 8YRS3 .. and I can honestly say this is the best iteration yet. I took mine to the tail of the dragon the day I bought it in Atlanta. The car is night and day difference with the wider wheels and the active rear diff.

I saw your facebook post, but I just realized you're the headrest guy. Still waiting for your allocation or did you decide to keep the green? I canceled mine as soon as I got my car home, but the one I found was the actual spec I had on order.
