Actually, I need to trade my wheels with another Ampliform owner that has these in Bronze (along with 245/40/R18 MPSS or similar - got 800 miles on the tires) - lol

lol, yeah. Find someone local to you in the CA Bay Area with bronze Ampliform and low mileage tires. Possibly a white car to make the graphite trade more enticing.

Sorry I can't help you out there :D

Bronze with blue is always good.

I have to agree with you.

ain't that the iconic Subaru STI color? Blue with Gold / Bronze wheels?

Hecken yes. I had a neighbor back in 2013 that bought one of the first Subaru BRZs, and it was WR blue pearl. He was contacted by a few companies to use as a test bed for their products, so it had dark gold OZ wheels, wilwoods, Ohlins and a whole buncho goodies. Gold wheels, blue car, looked gooooood.

Go 245/40. Almost zero stretch. I got delrin hub rings and lug bolts/locks from ecs. Delrin rings, zero issues and no seizing.

Btw once you get them, I suggest coating them. I ceramic coated mine. Brake dust doesn’t stick, it just “pools” up and sits wherever gravity leaves it.

Apr rings, yes (note that the price is for a single ring). Definitely cheaper options BUT they fit well.

I got the ECS branded 30mm lugs bolts, and BMW wheel locks

You convinced me about the black lug bolts, lol

Which one did you get?

The one below?

Are the OEM lug bolts 28mm shank length?

Maybe this?

Glad I could be of influence haha. Definitely nice meeting you and seeing your car in person.

The ones I bought were the 30mm, stock being 27mm I believe. I have had zero issues with any bottoming out. Plus I think the thickness of the Ampliforms lug holes is more than the stock (no actual data).

Cool, the Gorilla Lug Nuts that came with my wheel had a shank length of 23mm (sounds too short - lol).

I ordered the 30mm one as you recommended. Next time I remove the wheels, i'll measure how much of the shank is sticking out

17mm "sticking out" (or 2/3 inch) from the wheel pad seems to be the recommended number.

Finally Got them on!

Here are a few pics with the Konig Ampliforms. 18x8.5 w/57.1 to 66.6 Hubcentric rings - 245/40 Falken Azenis RT615K+. Ride is great and I don't rub!

What ceramic coating product did you use?
