Getting a sizzling sound and a bit of clear hot smoke coming from behind the engine and underneath the turbo. Possible oil or something from the turbo dripping onto the downpipe? This is after a drive and the car is off. Occasionally white smoke/oil burn indicator on WOT pulls. Car has been burning oil pretty bad for the past few months. It's not the coolant adapter on top of the turbo, I checked it and replaced it a few months back. This is coming from behind/underneath? Is this information enough to diagnose, or do I need to look closer?

edit: occasional total loss of power and blowing noise on hard right turns, where it seems like there's no boost and the car is struggling to make power.

Trying to determine if I need a bigger turbo or a carvana trade in

Could be the hose split that feeds the adapter.
Small hose on the adapter looks fine, everything on top of the turbo looks fine. I know this video doesn't give much in terms of view, but the sound is what I am interested in. Seeing a significant amount of oil around my fill cap, wondering if that's from pressure that's not supposed to be there or just a bad seal.

Swapped over to Bilstein B16s on my Alltrack a couple weekends ago and set ride heights pretty high since I wasn't sure how much to expect them to settle. A few hundred miles and a weekend trip later, they're all settled, and yesterday evening a friend and I tried lowering the rear. Top lock nut came loose alright with the pair of provided wrenches, but when adjusting the bottom nut that sits on top of the spring, it's near impossible to move, and when it does spin, it spins the whole spring adjustment assembly with it. Any better suggestions than clamping the threads with something else or just removing the whole thing? Weird that I didn't have this issue with the cheap coilovers I was on before.

Bump.

Is there a reason shipping on EQT's website is $300 for a turbo and a discharge pipe kit?

Ok guys. Need some sos help. I'm an hour from home and I just ether developed a hole in or blew a charge pipe. No codes but loud air noise and no boost past 10 psi. I'm babying it around now, but can this wait till I get home to fix or is this a quit driving now situation.

It's the zero to hero bundle or whatever... for some reason that markup doesn't happen when checking out with just the turbo. Fuck them discharge pipes, I didn't want to install all of that anyway.
