From dig, GTI shift points:

1st to 2nd: Mustang up half car length
2nd to 3rd: Even
3rd to 4th : Mustang up 1.5 car lengths

Both Mustang driver and passenger gave GTI thumbs up.

B.S , 1.5 93 or stage 2 91 and he is good to go. Stage 2 93 is overkill for that Mustang.

The problem with the mustang GT is that full tank doesn't last very long.

Golf R turbo swap, and APR/Eurodyne tune.

stage 2 with intercooler, water meth, and a little bit of e85 should make for a good run. No turbo upgrade needed.

Get some R comp tires. Those GTIs struggle to get big power to front wheels. I haven't heard of broken axles (yet).

MK7 here with stage 2 from APR. You can beat it.

It's def a good run, but the mustang with a off-road mid-pipe, intake & a tune will beat the stage 2 GTI especially top end.
