They are super small so they don't really effect the light much if any, they just make the headlights look a little more aggressive.

I think you are reading way to much into my statement. I drive in the dark this time of year, in the morning on the way to work, and at night on the way home. Relax, they are fine.

The ones on my car, I found on eBay, they are carbon fiber but blend in with the color of my car very well. I think they were $55 delivered. They just make the headlight look a little more aggressive, I think they turned out pretty sharp.
