GFB DV+ and Turbo Inlet Clearance

Hey all,

First post here, but I have this issue where I installed a GFB DV and a forge intake on my MK 7.5 GTI. I haven't been able to get the inlet piping as far as I'd like due to clearance issues, and it's even harder to get the clamp any farther down. I don't hear any leaks, but to be fair I'm listening from inside the car when I'm driving. Does anybody know if replacing the elbow would give more clearance? Or if getting a DV spacer is worth it?

Take off the pointless DV+.

Heard a lot of good things about it, so figured I'd give it a try. Picked it up local for pretty cheap, but I also read the stock DV is pretty good. I'll probably consider switching back if I can't get the pipe over the inlet

Stock DV is holding 29psi on my Tomioka. I'd say it's doing more than good enough.

DV+ only can provide you troubles and problems than benefits.
Use stock and you will be happier!

When I bought my turbo from Littco he said that I should use the stock DV and that's it as good or better than an aftermarket one.

I have the proper one from GFB and it works well.... with my jb4 I've seen peak boost around 31psi.....even with stage 2 it's around the same..

No drop in boost or flutter
