I understand, but look i've had also cheap DP (ebay, or catless or whatever) and after all these years, trust me it matters, the sounds is different, the fitment is better, the CAT is important, and for those of us (which are many as well) to not trigger the CEL, with stock tune.

I can agree that $1000+ is a bit to much, but the Neuspeed DP can be had under $900 shipped.

I mean APR is $750, but for $100 more you can have a DP with a eurocat, cel free, and Neuspeed is known for their almost perfect fitment. I don't have a tune, nor i want one yet, im happy with the JB1 unit.

The catback is really the same story....some are cheap and don't fit right or sounds terrible, where you can pay more and get something that fits almost perfect and sounds better..

thats my .2, after many DPs many coilovers, i've learned a couple of things

I had a USP downpipe and it fit like a glove on my MK6

Like I said, do research before you buy one

When you get close to deciding and buying one.....do some research and ask others who have bought one on the forums if they like it or had any issues

PM them.....they may give you a more honest opinion. No one likes to say openly on the forum that they paid good money for a piece of shit product

Could you explain how it fit like garbage? I was looking at their SS Catted DP and was planning to add a 3" Vibrant Ultra-Quiet resonator onto the tail end of it. RJRacing has one done this way. This seemed like a cheaper and quieter way to go the DP route that would allow me to run a Neuspeed catback without hacking it up to install a resonator.

I've seen multiple members here and on the vortex, post about the USP DP, and the fitment was off.

Go buy your $399 DPs and have fun with them. I gave my honest opinion, and i've had multiple DPs.

Where can I get Neuspeed DP for under $900 shipped???

I'm on the market for that particular item.

Also, do you have OEM exhaust? Can you please please post a video sound clip?

Thanks!!!

It would rattle and the bracket would get out of adjustment. I unbolted and torqued the oem rear clamp over a dozen times to adjust the dp until it finally began to leak and I had to buy a new one for $40 from VW parts and saved it for the APR down pipe installation. I guess it's a hit or miss I didn't have good experience and some have had better luck. If I had to pay that price range again I would look into the cts, but ultimately I'm happy with the APR. If I ever wanted to switch from Eurodyne to APR, the stage 2 will be at no cost. I have not once crawled under the car to adjust the APR down pipe.

$854.99 is what i paid, maybe they change the price of the DP, it was $899 when i purchased it + forum discount. I just looked at the email order invoice.

EDIT: Oh wow, they changed the price it seems Our Price $1,044.95, or maybe i got it on a Neuspeed sale? I don't remember if there was a sale going on at the time.

Napa, how long have you been stage 2? And when do you plan on going for an upgraded clutch kit?

Stage 2 for ~10k miles.

Will upgrade the when and if it slips/fails. Some hint of slip on the 100 octane map in cold air but so far solid day to day on 91/93 map.
