Could (maybe should, haha) use VCDS or Obdeleven to wind back the EPB.

From my experience with the brakes on an A4 that has an EPB, OBD11/VCDS was needed to put them in the service position, allowing the piston to be compressed with the tool. Assume the R would be the same.

It is. Refreshed my brakes before my Georgia road trip back in may.

New dashcam arrived. That'll get wired up soon after lunch.

Rear brakes still haven't gone in. Might be a Saturday project.

Finally got around to doing the rears.

Pro tip to avoid a bunch of errors and extra work. Remember to actually plug the electronic parking brake back in 😂

That's good advice, haha. I stamped the wiring needed for my EPB retrofit, I guess we're getting close to having no excuses left.

Wires are laser stamped every 2" with their termination points... for example T12/11 > SC34
T12/11 is the EPB switch connector pin 11, going to Fuse SC34
My stamping replaces the OEM style color-coded wiring.

Maybe your tastes have finally matured.
Were yours 19's? They also came in goddamn flawless condition. I'm still in constant shock of the deal I got on them.

Neuspeed has terrible QC when it comes to the paint finishes.

Can't say I've noticed that myself. Both sets I've had have been perfect. Don't doubt it happens though.

Had @messrock, @dtfd, @uglybastard, @Fliptrocity, and our buddy who browses Korean forums for his Elantra N come over to my place so we could install the Baun FMIC in @messrock's car. Shenanigans ensued.

Drilling through the crash bar. Which fuckin' sucked. Definitely the hardest part, took like 90 minutes. Huge shoutout to my neighbor Jerry who had better drill bits than I did.

Had to take turns, because your arm gets tired as fuck.

Putting on some boost pipes.

And Tim's Elantra N.

Here's a pro-tip for anyone else doing this. Make sure to actually tighten all the couplings for the boost pipes, apparently with so many people working at once, nobody tightened the front driver side one, and the first pull @messrock did heard the fun "POP!".... And off came the bumper a second time...
