17x8.5 is et43What's the offset? I'm running 245 40 17 on my current 17 x 8.5 +45 wheels. I'll be going 255 40 17 next set of tires. I'm 1 in lower too. No rubbing at 245, but I've got -2.3 camber front and -1.5 in back.
Will there be more pics, from the side? I'm lowered, not sure how much (previous owner) but the factory 19's with 235/35's rub frequently on dippy or bumpy roads and it aggravates the crap out of me. Were you able to get some good compression to test for rubbing?Here are a few pics from yesterday’s session with the bronze 17x8.5 wheels.
Also I agree with Geirsen, 235/45/17 looks like the sweet spot for this wheel size. Great fitment on the wheel and no clearance issues on my car (lowered about an inch).

Not really. 265 35 18 is when it gets really tight.The 255/40/17 is a pretty aggressive fitment for us, isn't it?
