Attention all Golf R owners local to the Bay Area!

We originally had a Golf R photoshoot lined up to test the new 17x8.5" ET43 Bronze samples, as well as the 17x9" ET42 Anthracite samples. However, some things fell through and we are now in search of another car to help with photoshoots and fitment testing. We need to get these shots done ASAP before the launch and there is also an incentive for anyone willing to help out with photoshoots/fitment testing. If you are interested in helping us out, please send us a PM!

Thanks all!

Geirsen, would you be so kind as to confirm that the wheels will be machined to accept the conical OEM lug bolts (or not)?
Thanks.

Thanks for the responses. I apologize for my bad description on the OEM seats- the radial seat was what I meant. And the Post #2 was my starting point for my inquery, particularly with the wheel style/design change as this group buy evolved and who knows what other changes might have been made during the design & manufacturing process. I've already got both OEM & conical aftermarket lug bolts & am planing to go to studs & lug nuts because of my frequent wheel/tire changes for autocrossing. Prefer to minimize the accumulation of hardware as much as possible...

Just a few photos from today’s shoot. Both colors are great, but that bronze finish looks great on LSG.

Yep Anthracite 17x8.5 with a 235/40 or a 245/40 is happening, I gotta get a smaller radius than the 235/35 19's to stop the bump rubbing

Both wheels were 17". Can't comment on the width for either wheel. The anthracite wheel did have the 255 tires mounted, while the bronze had the Michelin AS4's in 235 width.
