What did you do to your mk7 today?

Bought a Motive Pressure Bleeder and flushed my brake/clutch lines. 46K and I havent changed it yet. Pretty easy. Feels exactly the same though....

I flushed my brakes/clutch today too. Clutch felt a tad smoother. Brakes felt the same so that's a good thing I suppose. I was worried the brake and clutch were gonna be sitting on the floor by the time I was done. I had two cans so I went through the whole process twice to use it all up and make sure I got all that old stuff out them lines.

Yea my clutch feels a little smoother too. Would be juttery below 1K (like at the drive thru). Placebo maybe.

Registered for Auto Club Speedway Saturday, 6/4. Also ordered some Kumho v730’s in 255/35/18, slim pickings in this size right now. Would have love to tried the RE71RS but they wouldn’t have come in time.

How did you like the V730's? How did they wear for you? I ran them at Daytona and they held up pretty well.

Brought my car in for front and rear pads/ rotors/ss lines/fluid.

#1 Found out I mistakenly ordered non PP lines Neuspeed lines had zero part number in/on/around any packaging or order slip OR email so I couldn't catch my mistake beforehand. I let BMP know so at least they'll give me full credit to exchange them.

#2 The rear 310x22 PP G-Loc pads I ordered through ShopDap are not right. My shop cross-referenced them with non-PP pads and that's what they are. Odd because the pad seems to be identical but on an incorrect backing plate. Currently in process of a resolution. Pics for reference

Up to 9,999 exhausts, and not one more, limit the supply and keep the hype... nice!

The OG Mk7.5 Valved system was SN 001 IIRC. The owner of the part asked if I’d serialize it since it was a napkin drawing he paid me to make reality.

Really cool to take my wild ass ideas from zero to shipping stuff across the country, so I appreciate everyone who’s been a guinea pig in the process.

After blowing out yet another tire and bending another one of the Englishtowns this past winter, I installed some Hyper Black Neuspeed RSE10 18x8.5 with DWS06+ 245/40/18.

The ride is more comfortable and my asshole doesn’t clinch as much when driving on rough roads…

I was getting some rubbing in the front so I did the fender screw mod yesterday and the rubbing is gone! WOOT

Only regret is not coating these wheels first because the brake dust just clings to these wheels like crazy
