Saw the car at Sebring last year and it's not a hack-job...at least it doesn't look like it.
I don't know the guy personally but I know he's been in the VW "scene" for a while.

It’s cool, I’d definitely rather see BBS LM to complete the look but to each their own. In the show car side of the scene Sam is like a celebrity so I’m sure the stance guys all look up to this build
