Has anyone heard of the warranty being extended to 100k/10 yrs for the DSG on the mk7? I've seen it done for other models before.

I think that was for prior design.
But only because of a design issue.
MK7 better.
I talk to my mechanic about it from time to time to make sure drive chain or tension guides need to be replaced. So far no issue and not sure when it might be best to consider changing. Key item for us is to stay on fluid change schedule.

I was offered a VW warranty extension to that (although Mk7.5), but would've had to pay for it. I declined.
