Speedbleeders are great. I forget the size of the caliper bolts, m8x1.25 perhaps? With those, bleeding by yourself is even easier than with 2 people. If you have a manual, remember to bleed the clutch out, too. Scheduled maintenance on the triple 8 is very easy compared to some other VW platforms.

If you mean the size of the caliper bleeder screws, they are M11.

It looks generally easy. Worst part is getting the car in the air and my fat butt under it. Been studying up on the haldex unit. Is there anything crazy about changing out the manual transmission fluid? Looks pretty simple too.
