Received and installed the MK7 back-lit overhead front dome and the matching rear (that isn't backlit - I thought it would be...a bit bummed). I had replaced my interior halogen lights with LEDs when I got the car which were super bright but really too bright...the new consoles are LED but a bit more mellow with the output but same cool-white color temp. You loose the individual driver's side control for the all-on button but that doesn't bother me.

Yeah, that's why I was curious about the price from eacca. Seeing what the difference was vs ordering it from China.

Total for the cover, bolt, and shipping was $55.70. For anyone doing this, the correct bolt part number is 06E103164, NOT 06E103164A as I had seen in one of the threads on here. So had to tack on another $12 for the right bolt and shipping

So its the short one? Not the one in your picture? This is the only part that I have not been able to find included on the Ali options, there are a few that already have the screw mounted on the manifold in the pics, this is the only two I found that has it in the sale pictures.

Yes; the correct bolt is the short one, not the long one in my photo. The ones on Ali are probably fine (assuming they come with the right bolt) but given the <$10 difference I decided to go OEM from e-acca (shipping times are similar between the two as well.) The battery cover I got from Ali a few years back is still holding up fine, so I imagine any quality difference is negligible given it's just a plastic cover at the end of the day.

What do they know? Lower engine cover just means people don't know you have MPI installed.
