DieselGeek Sigma 6 short shifter, I need to make some adjustments but they're not kidding about short. Much shorter throw, much more willing to slide. At the moment it's driveable but still 'chunky'/notchier than I'd like, so I'm gonna see if my alignment needs some work or not. But either way, ticking another thing off the list.

Got another part to the GTI’s stereo build… tw3 super shallow 10” woofer - first JL product and I can say the build quality and looks def. Land on the hype - lol.
Going to be going in the “front sub”
position in a fiberglass sealed box, it will sit a lil deep back too once the foam and carpet are removed. Will be for that chest hitting 50-90/100 hz frequency
Rear setup is in the mail too… got a good bit more output planned for back there

It's not here yet, but I did finally cave and order a quickjack. They're having a labor day sale with $350 off. For that price, I had to do it.
I've been putting off a clutch replacement since the spring. I've been unable to drive with any stank on it for like a year. Clutch will slip like crazy, even on my base tune (is38) if I try to do any even slightly hard acceleration.
Part of the reason I've put it off is that putting the car up on stands all around is such a hassle and only gives 17" of height on the stands I have. Not fun under there.
QJ gives 21 to 24" of room apparently. That will make life less annoying.
Also, hey El bigote. How you been. You ever get around to doing the clutch start defeat mod?

Sub amp(final amp needed for the system plan) showed up today. Nice n wide… will get bridged to 2 channel so a clean class A/B 875rms per sub.
Hard lines for air and custom floor showing it all off next on the list once the install is complete?

Funny you bring that up as it’s been a good point of contention for me with this new visible system setup I’m planning. The air setup already had the main visible lines as -AN lines and I actually really liked the way it looked but there is ZERO way it’s gonna fit this way with the amps so I may have to go to a smaller tank and hide the manifold this time… may even have to go to a single compressor cause I need the space in the top corners were the compressor sit now (still want to maintain the compressor(s) hidden like they are now.

Considering I’m doing 2 15” the floor will be more coverage of woofers than the actual wood baffle
! But yeah will have to be like 2 layers of a heavy plywood at least for the baffle section then maybe a top Beauty trim would be MDF. Pretty sure the amp will all need to be elevated on some custom rack that I have a friend help weld up. Methanol pump and tank will need a reworking too and I have to fit a 2nd battery back there as well. *from when I was trying to see if I could even fit 2 18”s back there… these are the Template size for the 15s. Which the real ones are supposed to show up today.
