I had a similar incident over Christmas with our Suburban. Got attacked by a deer visiting family in Ohio, and just finally got it PDR done today.

$680 later is almost like it never happened, and the headlights are refinished too. Still need to buy a piece of trim and have it painted

Before

Hopefully yours isn’t hurt, but if it is there’re cheaper solutions than a body shop if you’re lucky
Looked it over briefly today after work, didn't have much light so didn't get a real good look. I couldn't see any dents and all trim was still in place. I think the snow was just soft enough to keep me from real damage. I'm off tomorrow and will go into town to wash it before we make the trip to MT. Rushmore. Fingers crossed we may have dodged a bullet.

Finally got all this nonsense terminated, cleaned up and labeled. Pics are not all from today but... this is roughly the order of things.

Wiring was added for Blind Spot Monitoring, Parking Assist & Aid, ACC, DCC, Lane Assist, Auto Dimming Mirror, Footwell Lighting (front and rear), Heated Seats, Internal Motion Alarm, External Sound Actor, Structure Borne Sound Actor, Rain Light Sensor, Fog Lights, All 6 of the possible shifter surround buttons (No Start/Stop in my car so this switch will control a latching relay to turn the external Sound Actor on/off), I think that's it.

Installed a PCX pedal tuner. Big difference in throttle response. Totally worthwhile mod.

Pedal ChipX. Bought on ebay for $219. Got tired of waiting for the endlessly backordered BMS version.

Damn, how hard do you reckon it is to just retrofit ACC?

Figured out I have a leak from my passenger front axle, wasn’t sure how much leaked out so I decided to
change my transmission oil to see how low I was on oil, which was a PITA.
Have a mq250 5 speed in my TSI, where the fill hole is actually underneath the fluid level line inside the transmission, youre supposed to fill it through the reverse switch but I didn’t have a deep enough socket to get it out. So with the front of the car up on ramps I managed to get 1600ml of oil in the fill hole before it started coming out. Prior, I had drained about 1400-1500ml of oil, so it was peace of mind it’s not too major of a leak and it’ll be ok for a week or two waiting for an appt at my local indie to have them formally diagnose what’s causing my trans to leak.

Finally got a M14 triple square so front shock install round 2. Used 2x4 method, worked great. Removed shock, did not have a open 21mm socket/offset wrench for the top nut. 😢 Also did not have a open 24mm socket so I wouldn't be able to tighten the B8 top nut either. Upon reinstall 2x4 (more like a 1x4) started falling apart. Started jacking up various areas with a floor jack and scissor jack to get bolts aligned. Finally loosely connected everything, dropped car to the ground and bounced the fender so the shock would sit back in the cup. Wasted 5 hours. Gonna take it to a shop and have them do it 😩

Put my CTS cat-back exhaust on over the weekend, it's just right -- not overly noisy and no drone, but sounds good under load. Best of all, it retains the factory warranty, which is big for me at the moment.
