Such and easy mod that so many think is not worth it.

My take.....if you are under 25 years old, pretty cool. If you are over 25 years old, not cool.

I am not a VW historian but this type of stripe is sort of a throw back is it not?
I think either the MK1 or 2 had this on some models.
So in that light a timeless design for the GTI.

Sorry you feel that way -- I think it looks pretty good!
Just added Red Plazma LEDs [Cardi.com] tail-lights and white for reverse.
Also plug and play led license plate lights.

looks better on black then white but i'm just not a fan of that type of thing. As long as you like it, it doesnt matter what anyone else thinks

Are those seats OEM leather? I didn't know that color was an option. At least not here in Canada.

Well here in Ireland it was an option when the car was bought new there not heated which is the only down side.

North America gets a very limited selection of options. At least you can order clark plaid on all trim levels.
