What did you do to your mk7 today?

Did you add the red stripe to the front? Im looking to replace the honeycomb grill too. Impossible to clean.

No. It came with it. It’s an eGolf Bluemotion grille. Can find them pretty easy/cheap. Forget exactly the site where I got mine but if you need help finding one I can dig around later.

Not mk7 related, but VW nevertheless. The wife was backing out of the garage and started turning prematurely. Ripped off the right side of the bumper and split the bumper in two. I took off the the damn thing, pulled out all the grilles and inserts. Picking up replacement bumper Monday.
I have to say that taking off the bumper on our mk7's is a little easier.

It came with the package but it was unattached. For obvious reasons I didn’t install it. I paid around $60.

Did you keep the rims from your GTI. Would go well with that blue IMO. Although I guess that might mean putting 18s on your R which I imagine came with 19s.
