well im getting the last of the mk7.5 gti (2021)

Fairly certain that's not an order form that even a dealer can do - you were working direct with VW. A dealer doesn't have the ability to file one of these forms whenever they please, and if they "order" a car from vw 99% of the time that means picking an allocation off the incoming vehicles. (Fully built, almost always shipped, usually already at the local port)

I mean I was shown from my buddy who is a sales guy the order forms for multiple cars, golf r Gti etc and usually the first options Is always the base model.
the order form I was given is the same flyer a delaer gets. now does a dealer want to order a base model GTI absolutely not because they don't make much money off that, but will they, im most certain they will

Based on the searching I've done around MIB3, the unit in the glovebox is completely devoid of any slots or buttons, so no CD player.

the 2021 does not have a CD player the maps is updated VIA OTA updates, the only thing in the glovebox is the SD card reader and holders.

this is correct, the nav and most functions on the radio is updated from OTA updates now .

Finally a decent gti wheel. This is pretoria level and beyond due to light weight for me
