Definitely. Actually Carvana is coming tomorrow and if everything goes smoothly I will be posting some good stuff: Brand new set of (sealed in box) Osram LEDdriving headlights, Clubsport S Muffer, Helix Soundbox, Brand new Cobb Accessport with EQT Stg1 and DSG tune, set of Cadiz wheels with PS4's, a nice set of OEM VW Euro LED Dynamic tailights with jbales harness....and some other goodies.

So Vroom is definitely a process… I’m going through for the last two weeks. The good thing is they offered over 5000 dollars more than Carvana for my 2019 Civic Si. Hell I think they are paying like 2.5k over the MSRP lol. They offered 25,770

It was a no brainer for me to get another GTI and not have to turn in my lease Honda 10k over miles and pay the dealer 4K.

now I’m getting a 2020 VW GTI S M6 with some mods tint, aftermarket wheels and tires, Hopefully a tune.

The bad news is I’m still waiting…

Initially everything was flying…
Like from the first part of listing my car and finding the replacement until getting digital contracts was like 48 hours.

First they messed up a digital contract, they put someone else’s name and information and vehicle in one of my forms. So I immediately reached out for them to fix the contracts. (The paper contracts in the mail were all correct and returned in the 24 hours)

it was at this point after not receiving the contracts I called back about 4 to 5 times and each time was told wait 24 hours or 48 hours. Even one time a guy said it would be expedited by a “contract specialist”. Approximately four days later I finally called again yesterday and was able to speak with someone after waiting on hold for an hour. Who got the contract out about 10 min after our call.

Now I’m waiting on delivery and pickup of my old car. According to their website it says that it could be anywhere from 10 to 14 days. My salesman said it would probably be a lot faster for me because I live in Michigan and my car is actually in Ohio. I can only hope that’s the case. However I haven’t heard anything back or received anything from Vroom, since completing the contracts.

Im stuck in Limbo… i’m hoping any day now some delivery driver just calls me and says hey your car is here.

Man….so weird.
I thought my process would be complex because it was a lease but it was super simple (with Vroom).

I called them to inquire about the “shipper” picking it up and then that expedited things and it was contracted out within 2 days.
It ended up being a local tow company and then I worked out the pickup date with them after that.
They picked it up, I emailed Vroom the pickup slip right away and then had the (surplus) check in my hand in 2 days

Some people are getting super deals with Vroom, and in those rare cases like with your SI, I guess its worth the risk with these guys. You hear lots of stories over in other forums, from delays, the wording of the contract to pickup problems. In most cases everything works out, but its far easier with Carvana/Carmax/Shift.

if you’re looking for a nice Forester, this one is pristine and well cared for. I still have all the service records for it.

Prices are seriously nuts right now. I check Carvana every couple of days to see if my Acura shows up - it hasn't - but I did find this Used 2014 Acura TSX | Carvana that is priced at $590 more than I paid for mine new in 2013.

Up here in Canada, the story is similar in the used car market. Last September when things were heating up, I traded in my 2019 Rabbit with 66,000kms for $27600 and bought the identical car with 12,000kms for $32750. Basically a $5k difference allowed me to go backwards 50,000+ kms. Prices are still $30k+ for a ‘19 Rabbit here, with 30-70,000 kms. It’s an awesome time to trade if you can buy your next one right.

Sold my GTI today. 2016 GTI S DSG w/60k mi for a little under 19k. Auction data indicates used-car market is softening, with slowing appreciation, so decided to close the deal now.
Hopefully correction is ahead. Will be looking for a good deal on a low mile mk7.5

may i ask how you found your subaru? do you keep googling your vin? I am trying to find my 2013 gti i just sold to carvana...

Yes - I Googled my VIN and it finally came up. It took Carvana over a month to list it.
