Love that Ed even gave him a shoutout about his years tuning on Maestro.

TPC38 update:
Bumped things up to 33psi (ok...32.9psi at this data point). 58.8% WG duty at 7000rpm. Still on 93 octane. Was around 65degF during this log.
Was checking out boost drop after the 3-4 shift. Seeing if I can minimize it as much as possible. Been tuning the WG settings for part throttle/lower RPMs and definitely picking up some better response/spool while not sacrificing gas mileage. Felt a bit "dead" below 3200rpm or so before. Just wasn't closing the gate quite enough in that area.
He is just a bit more responsive than Nick....and by a bit, I mean he won't consistently try and tell you you have a boost leak so he doesn't have to send you a revision that week.
For sure. I am not dropping a crazy amount of boost. Around 4psi. Attaching the same log after the shift. You're DSG?
Sorry to hear.Bro Facts! My experience with Nick at EQT was a major fail.
Sorry to hear.
My experience with Matt has been the complete opposite. I couldn't be happier with his responsiveness, thoroughness, explanations, and, because it matters to me: writing style.
for what it's worth the end result of every tune I worked with him was great. It's just the length of time to completion that is brutalNow I'm afraid of getting this Nick fella when it's my time, lmao.
