I will be getting some of those results soon as I'm gonna start tuning a 6mt gti that is supposed to finish up install this weekend, there is some on my website and on tpc website from there in shop gti

If it has an open intake, get me some audio of the spool up while normal driving and getting on it please!

Plan is to finish putting everything back together this weekend. Turbo is in, just have to put a bunch of small things back on. @railroader and I will getting at it soon. We'll make sure to keep you all updated.

I will be posting data on my tpc700 which is 98% of the same thing as the 770, and I'm still stock block for the record same wheels as the 770 for my 700

do it!!!

I've been eyeing the TPC770 waiting on more data for comparison. I'm currently on TPC38BB now.

Which TPC38 are you on, OUr first BB version with an oem cover or the more recent one which launched late fall 2021?

Typical EQT Stage 2 93 octane. I expected to get burned down, lol.

I ran an A10 GT with catback/headers/93 octane tune (on radials too lol, but it was 45F so they were squirming...typical Mustang stuff haha), 2 days after I wrapped up my 38 install.

Dead heat thru 120 over 4 pulls.... I was running 28psi & 7deg of timing on pump 93. Got to chat with him after to get details. He said he hadn't seen a GTI that quick. He thought it was hilarious that I had both the kid's seats in. Told him that is my trademark lol.

Gonna meet up again once it is warmer and we are both on e85.

Here is a little comparison between my Vortex xl and my tpc700, these were done on almost same identical map, xl had some cam phasing and 700 did not. Wastegate map was the same and untouched for the two. The xl started to spool a bit sooner bit the 700 made target boost faster. Vortex has a 54mm comp wheel vs 58mm for the 700. I'll have more data on the 700 soon, I need to go on the dyno as I'm at 36psi right now and Wastegate duty is only at 80% my xl around 34psi was tapped. My tpc700 will do 40psi just fine I believe. Also the xl was done in cooler weather where iats were a bit lower than on the tpc.both logs are 4th in my S3

I wanted the gauge the size of the beating so I'll know how much of an improvement the bigger turbo will net me, once I get it put on, and everything is dialed in, so I baited them into pulling

Out of curiosity HOW BAD was the beating ? Do you know if it was stock ?

These TPC units are quickly becoming my Turbo of choice .What are the major differences between the TPC 25 ( which is the one I am considering) and the TPC 38. What WHP #’s would I be looking at with just a HPFP ?
