My other car has a twin disk clutch with an even higher torque rating, so I'm familiar with how they should feel, but unfortunately my DKM never felt the way it should have, even before any TOB issues surfaced. Sucks because I would have loved it to work out.The (downside) nature of a multi disc clutch is more rotating mass, which results in a laggy feel compared to a single (notable when NLS). Just like the OEM shifter, it doesn’t bother me personally (I grew up driving stuff with much much worse lol). There’s always a trade off going to a twin or triple disk, the positive being less aggressive material can hold more torque.
Hopefully Ringer turns out to be a good option long term (ACT as well) so there’s more good options without compromise.
