Swapping adaptive modules in headlights?

Long story short, I have a xenon headlight with adaptive lighting that gets moisture inside.

Salvage yard has a good headlight, but supposedly the adaptive part of the headlight doesn't work.

Can I take the parts that make the lights move from mine, and swap the damaged parts to the salvaged one?

Search around here and you'll see that question was already answered. It's very difficult to take the housings apart yourself, and there's no guarantee the salvage yard parts will work. If it's cheap enough you can try, but research how to take the housings apart without damaging them. Someone here will probably direct you to good aftermarket units, if there are any. I'm pretty picky, but if it were mine, I would just live with the moisture.
